| The Munt
Families |
| The Munt family origins can be
traced back through the parish registers, since their inception in
1545, although as is the way the first instances of Munt records are
brief and are of little use, unless used in conjunction with wills,
marriage bonds and other original documents. |
| The Munt family have various
branches and lines, some of which I have tied in, whilst
others I have no link for. This is by no means a definitive listing
of the Cuddesdon and Wheatley Munts. |
The Munt family are related to a
good many of the local families, predominately in and
around Wheatley. Many of the links are not immediately
obvious. It is only when family backgrounds and ancestry is looked
into that the links become clear. |
If you know of any links that I
have not shown or talked about on this website, please feel free to
E mail me from the link on my home page. The instances and events
shown here are only a small proportion of my family history. |
